Equity Trading outlines how Money Management trumps Fundamentals, and Fundamentals trumps Technical Analysis. Most traders have the order in reverse.
This past year I realized I missed the mark.
There is an overarching principle that surrounds Money Management, Fundamentals, and Technical Analysis.
Accountability.
This is Advanced Equity Trading.
You are reading this because you are likely part of the 90% who lose consistently trading. This is your motivation. And now I will tell you why you consistently lose.
The 90% lose consistently because our minds are conformed to this world of superficial values and customs. This certainly affects our trading, but it also affects every part of our mind, soul, and body. It affects every part of our being.
In my case, my wife left in August and the following week chose to no longer be the mother of our children.
On the surface, my lovely wife appears to be some type of villainess. But the truth is she left because of my failure as a man, a husband, and a father. She gave all she could give and could give no more. It was my infidelities, my return to whoremongering that caused the situation and the pain I caused her. My sin and genuine lack of love.
Appearances are almost always deceiving.
Now what she has done is wrong and this is between her and the Lord, but I caused her to leave, and one reason for this is I was accountable to no one for my horrific sinful actions. I can not fix my wife, I can only fix myself.
This same lack of accountability needs to be applied in trading. You need to be hard on yourself to fully recover. Do you blame your losses on the exchanges? Loss of internet? A news event? Or anything apart from yourself?
If so, you are the problem. You must own the problem entirely. Now! Immediately!
Only then will what I am about to share put you on the road to recovery and consistent successful trading.
My Warrior King coach, Nick Denman, puts it this way in the Warrior King Code.
Be Real: This involves being truthful with oneself and others, not lying or hiding one’s true feelings. Be Raw: Embracing vulnerability and showing one’s true self without masks or facades. Be Relevant: Remaining pertinent to one’s current situation and not living in the past. Results Rule: Prioritizing results over feelings or opinions, and taking ownership of one’s outcome.
This code did not emerge in a vacuum. It is not secular but is revealed by Our Lord to a group of Warrior Kings through Scripture.
In understanding be men.
“Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.” (KJV) I Cor. 14:20
Be Real: In Ephesians 4:25 (NIV), it said, “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.” This verse emphasizes the importance of being truthful and not harboring or promoting falsehood.
Be Raw: The Apostle Paul, in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV), shares, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” He speaks to embracing vulnerability, acknowledging weaknesses, and relying on God’s strength.
Be Relevant: Isaiah 43:18 19a (NIV) encourages believers, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” This passage encourages moving forward and focusing on what God is doing now, rather than being stuck in the past.
Results Rule: James emphasizes in James 2:17–18 (NIV), “In the same way, faith by itself if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, ‘You have faith; I have deeds.’ Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.” This accentuates the importance of tangible results (deeds) as evidence of genuine faith.
I know countless large traders who lost everything first and later the wives and children left them. Not one accepted full responsibility. They blame the exchange, a news event, or some other event they have no control over.
As a man, you must take ownership of your current situation. If you do this I am here to help you through it, and at the same time, you will be helping me through my deep current loss.
You see I lost my wife, my property, my silver, my gold, and my Bitcoin but I have retained the most precious thing the Lord gave me through my wife, our four children, and two grandchildren. And I know how to trade regardless of circumstance.

Failure in trading is extremely personal. When failure happens a trader often feels like there is no place to turn.
Jesse Livermore is considered the first TA trader, a legendary trader in his own time. Yet he ended his own life with ballistic trauma to his head. In his suicide note to his wife, he wrote:
“My dear Nina: Can’t help it. Things have been bad with me. I am tired of fighting. Can’t carry on any longer. This is the only way out. I am unworthy of your love. I am a failure. I am truly sorry, but this is the only way out for me. Love Laurie”.
I knew traders who followed this same path. It was not a happy day. I have shed more than one tear for these men. This Boot Camp may save your life.
As a trader, you are most likely a man, a husband, also a father. There may be a few women, wives, and mothers here also. But this is the exception, not the rule. Most traders are men.
There are no magic beans for being a successful trader anymore than there are for being a successful man or woman, father or mother, or godly spouse. If this is what you are looking for you are in the wrong place and can subscribe to any number of YouTube Gurus who promise vast returns and life in paradise in this world with Lambos, sex, and private islands.
We each have a different psychological makeup. There are three components to successful trading. Patience, discipline, and execution. Your personality type determines your strengths and weaknesses. For example, my personality type is Enthusiast. I am strong in execution and decent in patience, but I need help with discipline and often lack empathy for others.
I will help you find your personality type to identify your strengths and weaknesses during Week 1.
By understanding how emotions affect your decision-making, you can put in place mental models to stick to your trading blueprint during times of market stress and personal crisis. If you can harness techniques professional traders use to act rationally and decisively, you’ll execute your system like a man with understanding — no hesitation, no FOMO, no desperation regardless of circumstance.

In Week 3 we focus on what I call backward thinking to identify and squash all of the bad habits you have acquired over the years.
