Bitmex frustrates even the most experienced traders . . . cause it just ain’t normal! And a few bad experiences on the receiving end . . . and some otherwise very successful traders throw up their hands and cry . . . . manipulation! Its not fair!

Yes, I know it is impossible to enter fast markets . . . but that always has been the case. . . . the market is a small chute and the herd just doesn’t fit! In my day fast market fills were often not posted until late at night or just before opening the next day. . . . so you babies have no cause for bitching.

Believe me, the technology is much better now . . . but the fundamental problem will never go away so long as markets have a herd mentality . . . the solution, of course, is to have resting orders. . . and non-nonsensical orders way above or below the market.

Case in point. Here is the Bitstamp 30 minute chart. . . after test Sunday’s close for 3 days at 5200 the market otherwise good traders bought the dip under 5200 . . . moving the stop to break after the rally to 5466. . . . Fine, good and dandy . . .
